And I dread the monday blue.
And I dread the monday blue.
4 person, 8 dishes!!! Even the hawker said we were superb! haha.
Saturday, met up Hua and Irene for Kris's birthday at CHIMJES. Us four + Kris's girlfriend. Too bad uncle brother kG went back malaysia, while HK and Poh are still in Australia and Canada respectively, if not i guess it will be more jolly. Nonetheless, a short but yet a cosy gathering. Reminiscenced of the old days; projects that took us countless nights, three hours long breaks stonning in the com lab, getting buzzy with the GL stuffs - that's my growing up years. I don't really want to depart today, cause we won't know when will we meet up again. Hua and Irene will be back with their working lives, Kris will be back to NTU settling his schoolwork, and me, back to NUS with the usual problems unsolved.
At CHIMJES.
That birthday boy.
His present - that thing inside that packet costs a bomb can! Haha.
MISK - meihua, irene, shawn, kris. Love them all!
Rene and i. I and Rene.
What's wrong with hua?!!?
And about school, school's life is still as bitchy as ever, and I seriously hate the school system. Really got to thank GL and Hua for listening to my rants these days, and going through it with me. Throughout my entire education life, this 'falling down" could have been the worst. And I only have myself to blame for not putting enough effort in year one. 1 year 2 months more to go, and I will know where shall I be...
Back to that pR2202 quiz. =(
Ever since human starts to rule the world, we've been killing; to kill pigs, chickens, cattles for a source of food, that's the way to survive i guess. But if we were to torture them before killing, I would strongly voice an objection. If this is human nature, then fellow humans, we will have retribution. The sounds of the crying pigs still tingle my heart. Fucking gross.
Why? Human, why?

True, a very constructive saying indeed. For everything in the world, there's a competition. Be it the results one took starting from PSLE to the Os, to the As (polytechnic in my case), and to the uni eventually; or to the snatching of food by the poor kids living in Africa and North Korea; or to the two men going after a lady.
All these are competitions, hence there's always a winner; and there's always a loser. The winner goes to the best university in town, while the loser repairs the water pipes as a technician. The winner gets the food while the loser starves to death. The winner gets the maiden, and the loser is left with a broken heart. Life is fair isn't it? You want something, you vie for it. If you get it, you are a champ, and you get the applause. If you don’t get it, you are a loser, and you get the jeers and mocks.
Is okay, losers can always start all over again. They can put in 100% more effort, 200% more sweat, 300% more energy. The technician can take up a part time degree. The starving boy can snatch back the food. The man can go after a new girl when his broken heart is mended. They will become winners one day.
But then again, what happen if the technician has no money to go for the course because he has a mouth of ten to feed? What happen if the starving boy is already left with his last breath? What happen if the man has a broken heart that can’t be heal? They will be losers always. There are no more competitions, and they can’t be winners.
I sent in an application for a competition.
Their job is to select.
They rejected my application.
I have no competition to compete.
And they already declared me as a born-loser.
I was that technician;
that starving boy; and that broken heart man.
And I can't be the winner eventually.
